The Labour Market Group’s latest job vacancy report shows 372 vacancies in November in Nipissing.

That’s down nearly 11 percent from the month before, but it’s comparable to the same month in 2015.

Officials attribute the drop to the seasonal trend.

Just over a fifth of the vacancies are in the healthcare and social assistance industry, followed by retail, then administration and support.

Sales and service occupations led the way with over 37 percent of the jobs with healthcare occupations next at 15 percent.

Nearly half of the positions were full-time.

168 different employers posted vacancies in November.
