10 local Partners youth bowling teams won medals in the 2nd step of the YBC National Championships zone round on Sunday.

Eight of the local teams won gold while one captured silver and another local team won bronze.

The gold medal winners will be moving on to the next round at the Northern Ontario Provincials early next month (March 4th and 5th) in Timmins.

Officials say the 26 individual Gold medal winners will also join previous gold medal winner in the Singles division, Sadie Tremblay (Bantam Girls) for an opportunity to qualify for the Nationals.
