North Bay’s Alison Fung has wrapped up her 5 year varsity pole vaulting career.

The Guelph Gryphons athlete completed in the OUA track and field championship this past weekend at York University.

The former Chippewa Raider finished 5th in Pole Vault.

Both Guelph teams claimed the OUA men’s and women’s provincial titles.

Fung has represented Guelph at five OUA championships and three CIS championships where she has consistently finished in the top eight.

She has won two OUA team gold, one OUA team silver and one CIS national team title in 2013.

She is also a two-time CIS Academic All Canadian for 2015 and 2016.

Fung plans on replacing her spikes with skis as she’s heading to the University of Calgary in September to complete a law degree.
