Curling fans are getting ready for 10 o’clock Friday morning.

That’s when full-event passes to the 2018 World Women’s Curling Championship in North Bay go on sale.

The cost for a full-event package to the March 2018 event is $379 plus service charges.

That guarantees the same seat for all 22 draws, round-robin, playoffs, bronze and gold medal games, and potential tie-breakers.

Officials say the March 17-25th, 2018 event will bring together a who’s-who of women’s curling, including, quite likely, many of the teams that will have played for gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.

Packages will be available at the Memorial Gardens box office, online at curling.ca/tickets or by calling 705-474-0626 (ext. 2700) or 705-495-8603.

The 2018 Ford Worlds will also feature the Patch, a party area located a short shuttle ride away at the North Bay Granite Club.

People will be able to meet the athletes and curling fans from around the world.

There will be live music, dancing, drinks and food, as well as interactive activities for the entire family.

Local fans who put down deposits on event passes have already selected their seats.
