Nurses and allied health professionals at the North East Community Care Access Centre have ratified a new, negotiated settlement.

About 300 Ontario Nurses Association members work in North Bay, Sudbury, the Soo, Timmins, Parry Sound and Kirkland Lake.

“Our members work as care coordinators, placement coordinators, care connectors, wound care nurses, mental health and addictions nurses, rapid response nurses and in Telehomecare. They provide excellent front-line care, school health support services, and therapy services in this region,” said ONA First Vice-President Vicki McKenna, RN.

Details on the agreement have not been released.
