The North Bay Battalion are back in the playoff picture with a 4-2 win over the Sudbury Wolves.

Head Coach Stan Butler says they had a strong game and it was one of their better games for 60 minutes.

“We had to play well, we’re a little thin on the back end, we only had 5 D dressed.  Out the five guys back there, plus Moran, I thought they had a great game,” he said.

Goalie Brent Moran made 32 saves in the win.

Steve Harland scored two goals and Rhys Forhan notched the eventual game winner late in the second period.

Daniil Vertiy added the insurance marker early in the 3rd period.

The Battalion are now tied with Niagara for the final playoff spot and visit St Catharines on Sunday to play the IceDogs.

Before that game though, North Bay travels to Barrie on Saturday.
