An advisory from Powassan OPP about increased wildlife activity in the area.

Police say a moose has been hanging around Highway 11, just north of Powassan, near Highview Golf Course.

A listener called to say she saw the moose in the tall grass on the side of the highway and says it’s huge.

Police are asking drivers to be extra cautious in that area.
