North Bay Police have charged a city man after a stabbing incident just before midnight on Sunday.

It’s alleged four people drove to the residence of another man, known to the suspect and confronted him outside.

It’s further alleged there was a verbal argument then the victim was physically assaulted.

Police say after the suspects left the victim realized he had been stabbed.

That’s when a neighbour called 9-1-1 and the man was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Police say a 48 year old man turned himself in at police headquarters yesterday and is charged with assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.

The investigation continues.
