A couple of scheduled public presentations lead off tonight’s regular council meeting.

One involves the newly formed Downtown revitalization committee of Invest North Bay while the other involves the domestic fowl bylaw.

Reports coming forward include one on the $2.8-million Trout Lake Road overpass rehabilitation and a couple more downtown waterfront committee recommendations.

They involve staff developing a Public Art Policy and Downtown Development Guide.

Three items are on agenda for tonight’s Council Committee meeting.

They include a recommendation to extend the overnight winter parking ban.

Right now it runs daily from 3 am to 6 am, November 1st to March 31st.

The recommendation is to extended it daily to 8 am.

The recommendation also looks to add an extra two weeks to the winter parking ban season, to April 15th.

Arena ice rates are also back on the agenda, after increases were tabled earlier this year.

The Municipal Accessibility Committee’s annual report is the other item up for discussion at the committee meeting.
