North Bay’s Mayor is assuring residents there is no city-wide blackout planned for today.

Mayor Al McDonald took to social media Sunday night to report that a fake news post about a city-wide blackout is not true.

He says unless something dramatic or unforeseen happens, it’s business as usual.

North Bay Hydro, meantime, tweeted that that they have NO planned outages.
