City's winter parking ban now in effect

A few on-street winter parking bans have started in North Bay.

From today (November 1st) to April 15th, on-street parking is prohibited in the Downtown Improvement Area from 3 am to 6:30 am.

Parking is prohibited on blocks with cul-de-sacs and dead end streets runs from 3 am to 8:30 am, while the ban runs from 3 am to 7:30 am on all other streets in the city.

The city also say parking is not allowed when there are snow removal signs posted, during or 24 hours after a snowfall.
