An innovative, not for profit, private kindergarten to grade six school is coming back.

Officials with the PEACE (Paradigm Education Acadamy of Creative Enlightenment) school also say a plan is underway to launch construction of a green school in Nipissing District in September 2018.
Land is being looked at in Powassan.

Founder and CEO Susan Terry says the PEACE School all involves academics infused with the arts.

“Where everything is taught through the creative venue, in all arts, including culinary arts, media arts, music, drama, theatre,” she says.

A public forum goes November 18th at Nipissing University.

“It’s going to be a two hour workshop, basically, to educate the public as to what we’re doing. The public, parents, children, community stakeholders are invited,” Terry says.

She says everything has been revamped since they held a pilot year of the PEACE School in 2013.
