The North Bay Battalion wrap up their extended six game road trip tonight (Friday) with a visit to Guelph.

The Troops are last in the East with 14 points, while the Storm are 7th in the West with 18 points.

Head Coach Stan Butler says both teams are hungry for the win.

“They need to win some hockey games because they’re in a situation where if they don’t win hockey games, it’s going to decrease their chances to have success,” he says.

The Battalion are 1-4-0 in their past five games, all on the road.

Butler also says they need more production from some of their players.

“We have some players on our team that probably haven’t played at the level they need to play at, hopefully we can find a way to get them to play at that level and that will negate some of the moves that we might need to make,” he says.

The Troops are back home Sunday afternoon for their Military Appreciation Game against Niagara.

Catch tonight’s game on Country 600 CKAT starting at 7:25 pm.
