A fourth straight loss for the North Bay Battalion.

The Niagara Ice Dogs stormed to an early lead and never looked back, taking Sunday afternoon’s contest 4-3.

Head Coach Stan Butler says they need to stop chasing games and bury their chances more often.

Despite allowing 4 goals on 34 shots, he says goaltender Julian Sime has been steady since Christian Propp’s injury a couple weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the Troops special Canada 150 CF-18 jerseys, worn as a part of Military Appreciation Day, were sold in an auction following the game.

The jerseys raised $8,700 for the Military Family Resource Centre at 22 Wing Canadian Forces Base North Bay.

The Battalion are back in action Thursday at home to the Soo Greyhounds.
