North Bay Fire and Emergency Services reports there were no injuries after a residential fire this morning (Thursday) on Kehoe Street.

City fire crews were dispatched at about 1:30 am and found a fire at the back of the duplex, that was intense enough to blow out a bedroom window.

The fire was contained to the one room, but there’s still extensive smoke damage to the rest of the home.

All residents were able to get out safely after being alerted by smoke alarms.

Fire Prevention is investigating the cause.
