Enjoy Winter in North Bay!

That’s the focus of a new video (above) launched by Tourism North Bay.

A variety of winter activities, everything from horse drawn wagon rides, ice fishing, skating, skiing, snowmobiling and much more are featured.

“Even though the winter and snow are here, tourism in this area booms,” said Stephen Hollingshead, Director of Tourism North Bay. “North Bay is a four-season destination, and with the beginning of winter, activities like snowmobiling, ice fishing and skiing are a great way to get outdoors and create those truly northern experiences.”

Local festivals and events, like the Ice Follies 2018, the 2018 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship hosted in North Bay this coming March, or the Timber Tour Freestyle and Ontario Midget Championship Nordic skiing events are great experiences for the whole family.

The video was created in partnership with Tourism Northern Ontario, Patrick Gilbert Productions and North Bay’s Economic Development Department.
