The North Bay Battalion are 1-1 on their weekend road trip.

They were edged 5-3 Kingston by Friday.

Jake Henderson, Brandon Coe and Matthew Struthers scored for the Battalion who will be in Ottawa on Sunday.

The Battalion will play Kingston in the 1st round of the playoffs.

The Powassan Voodoos took game 1 of their playoff series with Timmins on Friday by a 5-2 score.

 

Game 2 will be Saturday at 7 in Powassan.

(Trappers)

The North Bay Major Midget Trappers suffered a 2-1 loss in game 3 of the GNML final vs the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves.

Game 4 of the best of 5 series with the Trappers down 2 games to 1 is Sunday in Sudbury.

Game 5, if necessary, will be played in Témiscaming on Wednesday.
