Motorists in North Bay are doling out more money for gasoline.

This after the price of regular jumped about 16 cents a litre yesterday (Tuesday) to average just under $1.25 around the city.

That’s about four cents higher than the provincial average.

However, it’s still cheaper than prices in Sudbury and Timmins but it’s about 9 cents more expensive than Deep River to the east and about 14 cents higher than Huntsville to the south.

Drivers locally were enjoying some of the lowest prices in the province before the price hike.
