OPP say a Powassan man is dead after a single vehicle crash near Walkerton.

Police say a car became engulfed in flames after crashing into a ditch on Highway 9 Saturday night.

The say the driver was found lying near the vehicle, and died at the scene.

He’s identified as 52 year old Patrick Goode.
