$71,109.

That’s how much money was raised by the time Kevin’s Longest Morning radio-a-thon for Rotary4Kids signed off the air this morning (Thursday).

More money is coming in that will boost that tally.

KiSS 100.5 morning show host Kevin Oschefski was on the air broadcasting for 29 straight hours.

But, before the total was announced, he shared a story about one youngster wanting to announce on the radio that he has autism.

“This fundraiser raises a ton of money for programs, for all that, but maybe it also makes it ok for some of these kids to say ‘I’m a special needs child’ and there’s nothing wrong with it,” Oschefski said.

Funds raised support local children with special needs and their families.
