Twenty North Bay Titans competed in the first long course swim meet of the season this past weekend in Sudbury.

The NEOR #4 developmental meet took place March 24th and 25th at the Jeno Tihanyi Olympic Gold Pool at Laurentian University.

Nine-year-old Owen Baas won four of his events and placed third in another, while also achieving a Festival qualifying standard.

Ethan Yates had two first place finishes and a third while Jack Hachkowski won one event and was third in two more.

Ryan Spencer achieved four second place finishes, Julia Rivet was second in two events and third in another, Gabriel Cadiuex was second in two events while Robby Baas also achieved a second place finish.

Indiana Coffin was third in one of her events.

Dekota Jones, Sarah Cadieux, Freya McLaren and Robby Baas attended their first ever long course event.

Sixteen Titans achieved personal best times, including Ashlyn Auger, Joshua Gough, Brody Marietti, Nikita Ouellette, Marlee Parker, Chloe Popp, Drew Stephenson, Fionna Truong and Emily Yates.

Up next is the North Bay Titans Invitational from April 13th-15th at the North Bay YMCA Pool.
