The Powassan Voodoos have a new bench boss.

29 year old Max Gavin comes to northern Ontario from southeastern Michigan where he was an assistant coach for the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division I Adrian Bulldogs, who won a national title in late March.

He’s looking to bring another championship back to Powassan and help every player develop so they can get a chance at playing at the next level.

Gavin, who’s father Stewart Gavin played 750 games in the NHL, takes over the job in Powassan from interim head coach Bruce Cazabon.
