Battalion bolster their ranks

The North Bay Battalion selected 15 players in the OHL Priority Selection on Saturday, including five North Bay Trappers.

The Troops first round pick, ninth overall, was Trappers defenceman Pacey Schlueting.

North Bay selected Toronto Marlboros Centre Cameron Peters with their second pick, 29th overall.

Also in the second round, 31st overall, the Battalion selected goaltender Joe Vrbetic of the Don Mills Flyers.

Trappers left winger David Campbell, right winger Jesse Kirby, goaltender Reese Proulx and centre Jack Stockfish were also drafted by the Troops.
