The Powassan Voodoos have already started working on next season.

They held their first spring training camp on the weekend at Memorial Gardens.

Head Coach Max Gavin says the players worked hard.

“The effort was very high, the boys had to push through a little bit.  There was double-shifting for the scrimmages and even with the battle drills.  The guys did an awesome job, they should be really proud of themselves,” he says.

Along with some local talent and Battalion prospects, the camp included over 30 players from across the province and the U.S.

“I’m really excited about having a lot of local kids, even some kids from Michigan, out of the province, even out of the country as well, It was a great experience,” Gavin says.

The Voodoos next training camp goes July 27th and 28th in Powassan.
