A flood watch has been issued for the North Bay District.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says there is the potential or there already is flooding in low-lying areas.

They say stream flows and water levels are elevated because of the recent precipitation, warm temperatures and snow melt.

They’re monitoring watershed conditions and the weather, with above-season temperatures expected over the next several days.

Unless updated, the Flood Watch is in effect until midnight Sunday.
