There’s a new look to North Bay Heritage Railway’s diesel train and coaches.

The unveiling of a new design and paint scheme took place at the waterfront attraction on Saturday.

Spokesperson Bill White says the ONR repainted the train.

“It’s all done in the old ONR colours, the original green and gold of the ONR trains,” he says.

White says they like to refurbish the trains every few years because they get a bit tired looking.

There was also a book launch with two local authors who have written a book connected to the carousel.

“A couple of ladies have written a book about the capture and return of Sir Winsalot, one of our horses,” he says.

The mini-train and carousels are open on weekends for the time being.

The waterfront attractions will be open daily for the summer, starting June 25th.
