North Bay Police have charged a youth with several offenses including threatening death, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Police say on Saturday, a person was driving a vehicle on McLeod Street when confronted at an intersection. A chase ensued with a threat made that a youth had a knife in their hand.

The youth was arrested later.

A 24 year old male has been charged with domestic assault and assault police with intent to resist arrest.

Police say on Friday in the Trout Lake Road area, a domestic incident turned violent when a woman was grabbed and kicked. Police say in the arrest a male has to be restrained by officers.

A 30 year old North Bay male has been charged with several offenses in relation to a break in at a business in the Cassells Street and Chippewa Street area on Friday morning.

The charges include break, enter and theft, mischief and possession of break and enter instruments.

Police say business owners should be updating their video surveillance equipment and having quality images available and this helps identify suspects and that can help in making arrests.
