Craft beer, local entertainment and angling are all coming together at the North Bay Waterfront this weekend.
The inaugural Augtoberfest goes Friday and Saturday.
New Ontario Brewing Company Brew Master Mike Harrison says it’s going to be a great weekend.
“We wanted to bring all the breweries from northern Ontario down to North Bay to showcase what Northern Ontario can do. We wanted to bring in all-local musical line-up together to show what our area can do for music and we also have the provincial qualifiers for the Bass Masters going on this weekend down at the waterfront, so hundreds of giant bass boats flying around the lake,” he says.
North Bay’s Cory Marquardt headlining Saturday night’s line-up of local music.
“This is my first and only show this summer, actually, being between records so it’s great to be part of this and support local talent and local companies, beer and music go great together,” he says.
Marquardt says he’ll be performing the majority of his “This Man” album along with some new material.
Wristbands for Augtoberfest are available at New Ontario Brewing and The Boat North Bay.
They’re $25 per session or $50 for a weekend pass.
