The city has released some financial numbers for the first three quarters of the year — and several departments are in the black.

The list includes Community Services at $215,000, the Fire Department and Service Partners are both at $200,000 and Corporate Services at $60,000.

Reporting deficits are General Government at $627,000 and Engineering, Environmental Services and Works at $55,000.

The city says it’s projecting to finish the year on budget and a portion of the Mayor’s Plan reserve transfer will be used to balance the numbers.

But, if there’s a deficit staff say there are reserves to off set the shortfall.

Meantime, there’s a special council meeting tonight (Monday) at 5 pm with a vision of the term being outlined.
