Dec 31st is all about families again in North Bay

Local officials are once again putting the emphasis on ‘Families First’ at New Years.

The 25th anniversary Families First New Years Eve Celebration goes Monday, December 31st at Thomson Park, Memorial Gardens and the YMCA.

There’s a family swim from 1-4 pm with more activities from 5-9 pm including a family skate, inflatables, reptile shows and fire works.

“We encourage all members of the community and their families to come down and join us in an evening of fun and entertainment,” said Brian Winkworth, Families First Committee

Admission is free, but everyone is encouraged to bring along a non-perishable donation for the North Bay Food Bank.

“The entire Committee would like to thank all of our sponsors and donors of this event,” said Wendy Prieur, Families First Committee. “It wouldn’t be possible without you!”
