The snow is expected to taper off later this morning, but for now Environment Canada says a snowfall warning continues for the North Bay area.

It’s all thanks to an Alberta clipper passing through.

The forecast says snow and blowing snow will taper to flurries today, with another 5 cm possible, bringing the total accumulation since yesterday to about 15 cm.

Cold wind chill values are also expected.

School transportation officials advise ALL school buses across the Nipissing, East and West Parry Sound Districts have been cancelled because of the weather.

Schools remain open.
