Brazeau takes Battalion franchise lead in goal scoring

The North Bay Battalion lost 8-1 in London on Sunday, but it was a milestone game for the Troops’ Captain.

Justin Brazeau scored his 51st goal of the season in the loss.

He’s now the all-time franchise leader in goals scored in a single season, with nine games left to add to the tally.

With 57 points, the Battalion are 8th in Eastern Conference Standings.

Peterborough also has 57 points, but has one more win and is 7th.

Barrie is five points back of North Bay for the final playoff spot in the East.

Next up, the Troops are home to Owen Sound on Thursday.
