North Bay male charged in connection with domestic violence incident

A 51 year old male from North Bay has been charged with assault with a weapon, public mischief and breach of recognizance.

Police say the charges were laid after they investigated a domestic incident in the Thibeault Terrace area in which a man threw a bottle at a woman.

Police says the female suffered a non life threatening injury and the man initially reported he had been assaulted but they’ve determined that wasn’t the case.
