Propp saves 50 but the Troops drop game one, Voodoos up 3-1 in their NOJHL playoff series

The North Bay Battalion are down 1-0 in the best of seven OHL playoff series with Niagara.

The IceDogs scored a 2-0 win over the Troops last night.

Battalion goalie Christian Propp made 50 saves in the loss.

Game two goes Saturday night in St Catharines.

In the NOJHL playoffs, the Powassan Voodoos have taken a commanding 3-1 series lead on Kirkland Lake with a 3-1 win over the Gold Miners last night.

Three different Voodoos scored in the win.

Game five goes Saturday in Kirkland Lake.

The North Bay Major Bantam AA Trappers host game two of the Nickel District League Championship series tonight at Memorial Gardens against the Sudbury Wolves.

Sudbury leads the best of five series 1-0.

Tonight’s game starts at 7 pm.
