Suspicious fire on Passmore Avenue

A suspicious fire on Passmore Avenue has city fire officials, the Ontario Fire Marshal and city police investigating.

Officials say there were actually two fires at the same home.

The first one, a kitchen fire, yesterday around noon was quickly snuffed out by fire fighters.

They were then called again around two o’clock this morning to a fire in the crawlspace of the home.

Officials say crews worked hard and successfully managed the incident but not before there was significant damage.

The fire is deemed as suspicious.

There were no injuries in either incident.
