Nipissing Serenity Hospice has January 11th circled on the calendar.

That’s the day the facility on John Street officially opens with a ribbon cutting.

Construction on the $7.4 million, 10 bed hospice began in August 2018.

Once in operation the hospice will provide 24 hour palliative care services and respite services to residents in the Districts of Nipissing and East Parry Sound, free of cost to the patient and their family.

The grand opening at 10 am on January 11th will also include an open house, with the community invited.
