An isolation Easter Egg Hunt is underway locally.

Alyssa Laferriere saw the idea from a group in Timmins and thought it would be a great initiative here.

It involves people decorating for Easter so families can walk or drive by to find the decorations from the street.

“Everything is set up by neighbourhood so you can pick and choose the neighbourhoods that you’re going to do throughout the day,” she says. “And you’re expected to decorate your window or yard, whichever you choose, and I’m trying to promote that people use things they have in their house so they don’t have to go out.”

As of Friday, the response has been great.

“Almost 300 houses in North Bay, and in the surrounding areas I’ve got all the way up to River Valley and it’s about 200 to 250,” Laferriere says.
