City police say they’ve concluded a lengthy investigation into a break-in to the Callander Post office in early April.

Two North Bay residents are facing charges including fraud over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.

The investigation revealed the contents of some of the mail boxes were stolen including cheques.

Police say some cheques were endorsed with fraudulent signatures and deposited into bank accounts belonging to the accused.
