The 2021 MTV VMAs are happening on Sept. 12, live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the first batch of performers have been named.

 

Marking it as their first performance, both Olivia Rodrigo and Machine Gun Kelly will perform at the 2021 VMAs.  In addition, Camila Cabello, Lil Nas X, and Lorde will also perform.

This will be Camila Cabello’s first performance since 2019 when she and Shawn Mendes shared the VMA stage during a performance of Senorita.

This will be Lil Nas X’s first performance since performing Panini on the VMA stage back in 2019.

And Lorde will also return to the VMA stage, making this her first performance since 2017.
