About $35,000 worth of drugs have been taken off the street locally and a 27 year old city man is facing seven trafficking charges.

North Bay Police say a Street Crimes Unit drugs investigation culminated with the search of two residences in the “inner core” of the city last Friday.

Along with $12,700 in cash, police seized marijuana, cocaine, magic mushrooms, methamphetamine, OxyContin, and a small amount of a heroin/fentanyl hybrid.

The man also faces four drug possession counts and a charge of possession of proceeds of crime.

He was released from custody and has a July court appearance.
