A 23 year old city man is facing charges after police were called about a domestic incident just after 11 o’clock Monday night on Main Street.

Police say a woman was approached by a man known to her from a previous relationship.

An argument ensued with the man striking the victim, who suffered a minor injury.

The man is charged with assault and uttering threats.
