Battalion Defeat Ice Dogs

The North Bay Battalion use another tremendous second period to lift them to victory against the Ice Dogs.

The night before, they scored 5 goals in the second to beat Hamilton, and last night they used 4 goals in the second to beat Niagara 6-1 on the road.

The Battalion got goals from Mathew Santos, David Sherman, Brett McKenzie, Miles Liberati, Cam Dineen and Kyle Potts.

Jake Smith had been out of the lineup for 9 straight games, but now in back to back games, he gets back to back wins. He made 28 saves in net.

They won their first two games this weekend, and will now travel to Flint on Sunday, to take on the Firebirds.
