North Bay Battalion training camp continues today (Tuesday) with a couple of intrasquad games.

They’re being played at 9 am and 4 pm at Memorial Gardens.

The games are open to the public at no charge.

On Monday, Team White shutout Team Green 11-0 with Reece Proulx, Cal Schell and Christian Propp sharing the shutout.

Justin Brazeau (pictured) and Brad Chenier each scored twice in the win.

Nathan Porter, Nick King, Brandon Coe, Matthew Struthers, Nick Davis, Andy Baker and Cameron Peters added singles.

The Powassan Voodoos have added a couple of familiar faces.

Joe Whittet, who scored his first junior ‘A’ goal as an affiliate with Powassan back in 2014-15, returned home in a trade that saw Voodoos NOJHL rookie of the year Harrison Israels sent to Oakville for a development fee.

Powassan also acquired Dakotah Woods from Dryden for a development fee.

He was only 16 when he tried out for the Voodoos in 2014-15.

A couple of club championships were played at the North Bay Golf and Country Club on the weekend.

Second seed Sam Barber won the Men’s Championship 6&5 over defending champ and number one seed Rob Gribbons.

Meantime, the Senior Club champion is Steve White.

The top seed won on the 20th hole over second seed Mike Bethune.
