The North Bay area can expect a somewhat seasonal fall, in terms of temperatures and precipitation.

“I think most of us will be pleased to know that we are expecting, more or less, temperature-wise, a seasonal or traditional fall for us and in terms of precipitation, similar conditions,”  says Meteorologist with The Weather Network, Nadine Powell.

She says we aren’t expecting too many stormy days, but there could be added moisture when we do.

As for any snow fall, she says that’s not uncommon later in October and November.

“Given the fact that temperatures have been close to seasonal for us, or even slightly above, we aren’t expecting that we’ll get into snowfall this early in the season,” Powell says.

When asked about long-range modelling for winter, she says indicators are pointing to a traditional winter, but it’s still too early to say for sure.
