Sud NipissUnion Gas is doing its part in North Bay and Sudbury to raise funds for the local United Way fundraising campaign again this year.

Under the theme, Give Today, Improve Tomorrow current empoyees and retired workers raised 29 Thousand Dollars this year.

That surpasses last year’s amount and is a new record.

There’s more good news as the parent company of Union Gas Spectra Energy will match every penny raised by the local contribution.

District Manager Steven Jelich says everyone at Union Gas works together selflessly to raise funds for the United Way and this year is no exception.

The community coordinator for the local United Way Ciara Deschamps says Union Gas continues to set exemplary standards for others in both the North Bay and Sudbury Districts.
