After the Las Vegas shooting many people asked ‘where were the country artists’ voices on gun violence?”  Most didn’t say much for fear of ticking off their fan base in gun carrying states, look what happened to the Dixie Chicks when they spoke out.  This Instagram post from Taylor Swift is huge. It is well thought out and no reasonable person would disagree with her reason for casting her vote ‘to protect and fight for human rights’ in her home state of Tennessee. Taylor Swift is an influential voice, heck Apple changed their policy 24 hours after Taylor took issue with them. Vote. That’s the message to her young American fans.
