A 46 year old North Bay man is facing charges after police were called to a domestic assault at a Delaware Street residence early Sunday morning.

It’s alleged a woman was struck by a man, suffering injuries that required medical treatment.

The man is charged with assault causing bodily harm and two breach counts.

Police say there is help for victims of domestic assault.

In a release they say if you or someone you know is in an emergency situation requiring immediate police assistance, call 911.

If you are a victim of domestic assault and do not feel ready to report the crime to police, help is available.
