Downtown Robbery Leads to Charges

Two North Bay residents are facing charges following a robbery at a downtown convenience store early Tuesday morning.

Police say they located the suspects following a traffic stop.

A 26 year old woman and 27 year old man have both been charged with robbery with theft and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Police say two people demanded that the clerk of a downtown convenience store give them cash or otherwise face consequences. The clerk complied and police say two people left the scene with cash.

Police say $98 was seized.
