Lets remember Adam2
On February 11th, 2000 a little boy in Mattawa didn’t get home from school safely.

Adam Ranger was killed when a truck failed to stop for the flashing lights and stop arm of his school bus.

With this being the first day of school, Adam’s brother Pierre, who is the chair of the Let’s Remember Adam campaign says their message is all about ensuring kids get to and from school safely.

He says sadly, the message still needs to be delivered. “It still happens regularly where people are not stopping for the school buses and they’re running the lights.”

He goes on to say, “most, from what I can see, is either they’re not paying attention or they’re just putting their own personal time before the life of a child.”

Ranger says they’re also asking motorists to be watching for kids who walk to and from school too.
