North Bay PoliceCity Police had a busy weekend with 225 calls for service. 

10 people were charged for several offenses including assault with a weapon, uttering threats, theft under 5 Thousand Dollars from a motor vehicle, break and enter, attempted theft under 5 Thousand Dollars, sexual assault, voyeurism, driving while impaired and public intoxication.

A 45 year old city man has been charged with 2 counts of assault with a weapon  and 1 count of uttering threats.

Police say they were called to Fisher and McIntyre on Friday afternoon following a disturbance between 2 men and a woman.

Police say a male threatened another male with a baseball bat and a pool cue.

Police say the victim suffered non life threatening injuries.

The name of the accused is not  being released so the name of one of the people involved in the incident can be protected.

And police have made a correction regarding a news release from last week.

Police say the charge regarding an accident on Four Mile Lake Road was incorrect. 

Police say it should  have said careless drivng under the Highway Traffic Act and not a criminal charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
